Excellent food and warm staff. We ordered the fish and chips and the fried chicken. Although it was later in the day the food was still very fest and well seasoned.
It's an easy walk from the castle. There's limited seating for only about 12 people. -

Carry out ("take away" when in England) only fish and chips restaurant. They do have about four tiny tables, with half being outside, that you can eat at, but it's basically a to-go place. Service was okay. Not much available parking nearby, so plan to walk a bit when you find a street space nearby.
Fish was good, but a little greasy and they left the dark skin on, which is not appetizing. The chips were average thick cut fries. Nothing special about the chips.
Expect to pay about $10 for one fish fillet and chips. If you want ketchup or tartar sauce they charge $0.25 per squeeze packet. While that would be crazy in the U.S., it appears to be somewhat common in the U.K. -

This was kind of our only option for dinner late on a Thursday night after driving in from London. But it wasn't that great. I ate the fish out of the fried shell since it was fairly oily. The fish was excellent quality so that's good. The "chips" are just thick fries. Just an average meal. Service was decent and it was pretty busy being pretty much the only quick option.

Excellent fish and chip shop with a good menu that includes all your favourites. Food cooked fresh. Friendly staff. An easy family friendly take away dinner option if you're in Dover. Reasonably priced too. Would recommend.

First fish&chips I had in years (I live in Spain) and the cod was great, nice crispy batter. It's nice to be back!
